About Me
I’m Amy, a triplet mom, firefighter and physician. I love becoming a better parent (mostly through trial and error), any reason to enjoy a good bottle of wine and anything else that keeps me happy and sane.
Triplet toddlers make this journey especially interesting! Then my daughter was diagnosed with Wilm’s Tumor (kidney cancer) and I knew I had to DO something to help others and myself.
I know I am blessed beyond belief but struggle sometimes to feel that way. I suspect I’m not the only parent in this situation and believe we can be stronger together, as a community, than apart.
I started this site as a way to fight back against cancer and all the parenting challenges I was facing seemingly all at once.
My goal is to support and encourage all parents because (let’s be honest), being a parent is equally the most difficult but also most rewarding job in the world!
More importantly, as parents, we should feel free to share our victories, failures, hopes and dreams without fear of criticism.
I’m in the midst of the valley of pediatric cancer as I write this, however, I believe there is strength in numbers, and Joy if you are only able to know where to look for it.
God Bless,
Amy
